copy and paste every folder but install to the new location and replace.reinstall minecraft in Curseforge, since it will not recognize your minecraft installation, in a different location than the one you've had previously.delete minecraft.exe in your Curseforge directory under /Install.The download failed on me multiple times, but you can just restart it, it will finish at some point. To finish it up, I copied everything except the 'Install' folder to the new directory, the modpacks I've had installed before were visible again I could start them again without any issues, but I've had to do some downloading in the launcher after the login. Then I chose a DIFFERENT directory than the one I've had chosen beforehand and installed it there. It no longer recognized that I've had Minecraft modding installed, so I've told it to install Minecraft for modding. I deleted 'Minecraft.exe' in my Curseforge directory under /Install and went back into Curseforge. Since the Minecraft Launcher in the Microsoft Store worked perfectly, I had figured that the problem was in the launcher which Curseforge was using to start Minecraft. I was trying to launch 'Dawncraft' over Curseforge, but I couldn't since the Minecraft Native Launcher update got stuck at the same spot every time I tried to open it. So, I've been resolving this issue for myself for like 2 hours now and since I couldn't find a fix online I thought I might as well spare anyone else the trouble since I got it working for myself.
